剛到台灣時，完全沒想到我會留那麼久，
本來只想說要待個一年，有個經驗就好...
台灣有個魔力，會讓人流連忘返...
等到工作變成必須從早到晚坐在電腦前、盯著螢幕，
才會知道可以跟小孩們互動一整天多幸福。
這份工作讓我認識到許多台灣金字塔頂端的家庭，
才瞭解到台灣小孩的學習壓力多大...
在壓力這麼大的環境下還能閱讀英語母語的書籍，
非常佩服這些孩子們的奮發向上。
Teaching English in Taiwan gave me an amazing look into the world of the Taiwanese student. I will always be amazed that so many of those children managed to gain such a goo grasp of English and always be in admiration of how hard they work. Growing up I never once came into contact with a classmate that had even the most basic knowledge of a foreign language, except my friends whose parents were not english and therefore learnt it at home. Teaching English in Taiwan may or may not be the right thing for you, one thing is for sure. Taiwan won't be a peaceful country much longer. China will come for Taiwan sooner or later, so enjoy it while it lasts.
